Love vs. Lust

Love is deeper than physical attraction;

Love cares more for another than for its own satisfaction.

So often, what we think is love is really only lust,

And we end up betraying one another's trust.

True love is patient and grows with time,

But lust cannot wait to be satisfied.

But lust only stays if there's pleasure to be had.

Love Stories?

. . . . Yeah it may be rare , but its there. Not every love story ends with you dying in your lovers arms , or you taking that one shot that scores you the love of your life . Your love story can be happening right before your eyes and you don't even realize. Before you knock it, try taking a look at your life. This isn't about me , but i just had a moment of thought. I've been so caught up in the whole " its just a movie " mentality that i failed to realize love like this really does exist. #Shoutout to the Lovers

The Way of Love

13:1 If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3 If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.

4 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant 5 or rude. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways. 12 For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known.

13 So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

Trust .

One of the hardest things in the world for me to do is trust people. Like if i can honestly say ' I Trust You' just know that i truly mean it and i believe that no matter what, i know i can depend on you. Not to say i'm a dependent person . . . ( sooooo not me ) Miss. Independent is more like it, but its good to know that whenever or wherever , theres that one person that you can call on and no matter what will Truly and whole heartedly be there for you, not to fix your problems but at least to care and support you besides your fam. Over the past couple of years i've had my fair share of "situations" and i can truly count on one hand the people who have stood by me through it all. Its kinda crazy. Idk where this is coming from , but i guess im feeling some type of way about who I say that trust word to.
